So excited to finally post my Try The World Sweden Box Review! We love our Try The World boxes at my house. But no one loves them more than my mini…
Try The World Sweden Box Review
This cool cucumber is ready to try foods from Sweden! We started out with Sweet Licorice. This is perfect with tea or just by itself as a snack. Violette loved the chewy licorice. She’s never been a fan of other kinds before, so I was pleasantly surprised. Licorice is used for some digestive system complaints including stomach ulcers, heartburn, colic, and ongoing inflammation of the lining of the stomach (chronic gastritis). Some people use licorice for sore throat, bronchitis, cough, and infections caused by bacteria or viruses. With her constant colds this is a great kid friendly snack!
Next up we tried this very unique Nordic Fudge. It’s fudge flavored with rosehip. With zero idea what to expect we both loved this one. Took a few tries as it’s a unique taste, but soon we swallowed it up. Rosehip is packed with Vitamin C too.Next up Morsjo Deli Flatbread Crips. The only grain that grew in Sweden was barley. To revive stale bread, the brushed it with oil and baked it again. This bread is similar to a cracker as Violette suggested. It was yummy and perfect with the Lingonberry jam also in the box! Finally Violette got to her favorite part! A gooey Double Chocolate Crisp. These cookies are amazing and messy fun to eat. Perfect for a snack or with tea or coffee. I used my soda maker and this awesome organic elderflower syrup, but you can also mix some with sparkling water. It’s a light and very refreshing drink. Not too sweet, but sweet enough to get your unhealthy soda craving fix. Yay for healthier options!
Also in the box you’ll find Lofbergs Ground Coffee which is good chilled with ice or baked into desserts. One of my favorites in the box is the LissEllas Sweet & Hot Honey Mustard. It’s a gold medal winner. It has won over 16 awards and you’ll taste it! I love mustards and love what this does to my salad dressings and marinades. I also enjoy it with chicken nuggets, because I’m super fancy.
