I picked up so many plants at the Walmart garden center this past week. I’m ready with my pack of Smart Water to get started on my garden. We only have a few more months left here in Miami before it’s too hot to sit outside (and before the mosquitos return in full force). We are digging holes in overdrive extending our deck and adding a covered patio area over the soon to be extended deck. My garden used to be full of roses, but the trials and pain of trying to grow roses where it’s just too hot and humid wore me out. I still have two on the side of my home that happen to be thriving, but the rest are being slowly replaced by tropicals. Now I’m killing my English or Italian garden dreams and replacing them with a tropical paradise. You get so tired of tropicals when you live in Miami. But I’m embracing it for now. Once my backyard is finally done I’m excited to have a big reveal here on the blog. I’ll even be having blogger events for the local bloggers from Miami Bloggers Media back there. Stay tuned.
