This weekends looks were the prefect fashion choices for a lazy day home and an afternoon out. Saturday we went as a family down to midtown.
I FINALLY tried Panther Coffee! It was just as expected. Thick foamy deliciousness in a cup complete with latte art. My husband was very excited about the quality of his expresso. First coffee place he has liked since the little hole-in-the-wall we found in Taiwan.
Wynwood is becoming packed with young, artsy, trendy, and wealthy folks now. It use to be just a few artsy kids and a great place to score drugs or buy a cheap building. Now you suddenly see police watching over tons of pedestrians, luxury cars everywhere, “graffiti artists” rather than troubled youths drawing on the walls and buildings. Gentrification comes with some benefits. It has helped the local artist community, although some still argue that all it has done is attracted big name artists who are pushing away local artist from an area they used to be able to afford.
It was cold this weekend! I nearly turned the heater on. Without checking the weather I would guess upper 60s to mid 70s. For Miami locals that’s crazy cold. We don’t own clothing items such as thick socks, scarves, and closed shoes. My ankles were FREEZING!
Miami Fashion Blogger Weekend Looks
I busted out a basic black long sleeve shirt. It’s one of my favorite basics. Always feels nice and works with tons of stuff. I paired it with my new Lucky Brand pants and Clarks comfy heels. Gold circle necklace is from Sammy Dress (a steal) and cuff bracelet is from Charming Charlie and one of few that fits my tiny little wrists.
This cute Moroccan style dress is from Free People. Love it!
