Halloween and Fall in Miami is something unique. First, it can easily be 90 degrees or more. So you can forget your sweater. Though some of us are sweating with sweaters on by our (half melted) pumpkin patches attempting holiday photos.
Halloween in Miami
Babes decide after much back and forth to be Doc McStuffins. She was giving me such a hard time choosing a Halloween costume because she didn’t want anything hot or scratchy. She wanted soft fabric and kept having me touch her cotton jammies to see the difference. Poor child doesn’t understand that Halloween costume are made with cheap garbage polyester and scratchy tulle. Mama isn’t able to sew and those cotton handmade costumes on Etsy are way too expensive to justify.
Either way, she looked adorable and had an epic good time Trick or Treating the neighborhood.
Fall In Georgia Stone Mountain Park
We also just took a quick trip to Georgia to visit with my mom and little brother. So we have our first photos of Violette in front of pumpkins IN A SWEATER!!! Ok it wasn’t perfectly styled and she wasn’t wanting to look at the camera. Still adorable.
MY MOM IS BUILDING A HOUSE IN GEORGIA
Now that my little brother is living away at college, suddenly my mother and stepfather got this bright idea to build a huge house. Now that it’s just the two of them. I’m sure it’s just as an investment or whatever, but it’s totally crazy. Here’s the basement coming along. It’s a huge lot and they even purchased the wooded areas nearby so no one can build next to them.
They have a gorgeous lake in the backyard. What a nice view! This lake will be awesome when my sister and I go up to visit. We can get a paddle boat or something and have tons of fun.The previous owners only got as far as building this gazebo over the water. It’s beautiful. Imagine having tea while sitting on the water. I hope babes is into tea parties when she’s older. And here is the lake view in front of the house. Another beautiful view. I’m sure it’s going to be fabulous.
Meanwhile in Miami, for the price of what they are building you can buy a shitty townhouse in a medium crime area. lol, but at least you’re in Miami.
