Today I’m taste testing and giving a Chococurb chocolate subscription box review. This is the perfect gift for the chocoholic in your life.
Features of the Chococurb Chocolate Subscription Box
- They come in 3 sizes (standard, mini, and nano). I’m reviewing the smallest, nano.
- Fair Trade
- Personalized to your flavor preferences
First it comes neatly packaged in it’s own little cooler. I kinda wish the enclosed ice pack was larger. In Miami, this wouldn’t stand a chance in summer. The good news is that if it does arrive melted a quick pop in the fridge is all you need. Five adorable pieces of chocolates arrived beautifully packaged. It also includes a sticker (not pictured).
Chococurb Chocolate Subscription Box Tasting Results:
The little twist foiled red and blue chocolate was my first try. It was soooo delicious. Seattle Chocolates – Birthday Cake Batter. Very sweet and yes, a little cake batter like! Like a creamy cake battery chocolate covered flavor explosion.
Up next I tried the light blue foiled with brown chocolate, Ethereal Confections. It’s a lovely organic dark flavorful chocolate. The perfect dark chocolate. Not too dark and perfect for eating with strawberries or just on it’s own. It’s easy to melt and coat fruits. This is a chocolate I see myself able to indulge in more often.
The pretty pink chocolate by Dolfin in Chocolate Lait is next. This Belgium chocolate is a little more milky then the previous chocolate. I taste a hint of condensed milk flavor. A delicious sweet milk chocolate.
Up next the chocolate with the latte picture. TCHO Moaccino, is a milk chocolate + Blue Bottle Coffee “Moaccino” with 39% cocoa. It contains some This is like a bite of AMAZING coffee with chocolate. I think I’m in love. This tastes great! So unique. I’ve had chocolate flavored with coffee before, but this is like really awesome coffee. It’s a must try! Probably going to order more of these…yup.
Now for the largest chocolate with the pretty art of a women, Menakao – Truly Madagascar – Milk Chocolate 44% cocoa Madagascan Vanilla. It’s described as “fudgy and light”. Unlike most Madagascar cocoa bean and vanilla, that are shipped out of the country and then used to make chocolate. These are made in Madagascar keeping more profit for the Madagascar people. Mena means red in Malagasy. The color of their cocoa lands and in turn makes their chocolate more red. While I didn’t see much red in the chocolate as the package indicates, the flavor was a nice milk chocolate and very similar to the Dolfin chocolate.
