We all have that dream. The perfect lazy Sunday with a healthy breakfast in bed. Naturally, it’s totally Pinterest worthy. So I decided to indulge in the fantasy of breakfast in bed for this post. First up, an inappropriate black hi-low maxi by The Jetset Diaries (see the bottom of the post to snag one!). Where else am I going to get to wear this dress? No one in their right mind dresses up to get back in bed. But what’s the fun of being in your right mind anyway?
On to the Breakfast in Bed
If you saw my last post here, you’ll know exactly what I make for most lazy Sunday breakfasts and get some tips on morning routines. I’m a big tea lover. So there wasn’t going to be a perfect lazy Sunday without my morning cup of tea. The best mornings have matcha lattes, but this one was classic Earl Grey.
Forget Juice – Get Your Sweetness With Unmessed With Fruit
Many people think fruit juice, like apple juice, is healthy. It’s actually terrible for you. You might as well have straight up soda. So instead grab some whole fruit. Naturally packed with pulp and fiber to slow the absorption of sugar allowing your body to properly handle it without putting your liver under stress. I also have berries like raspberries and blackberries. When I get the luxury of pomegranate, I eat them with the seeds. If you chew them up really well it kind of tastes like you’re making your own nut butter in your mouth. You start to like it. We shall continue my lazy Sunday with my favorite books at the moment.
