In November I hit a milestone birthday. I was smack in the middle of my PCOS cleanses (immunity/stomach/liver). Each phase of the cleanses requires a different highly restrictive diet. I was on a vegan leg on top of other restrictions. So I decided to have a Boho healthy birthday party.
Raw Chef Carla’s Creations for the Boho Healthy Birthday Party
The only way I was going to have good vegan party food is if I handed the situation off to a professional. I went with Raw Chef Carla! She catered a previous bloggers brunch for my group, Miami Bloggers Media and it was a hit. These cups of goodness are made with banana, mango, and passion fruit. SOOOO good and no added sugar in anything. Just what is naturally in the fruits. I decorated with bright tropical bohemian florals. So happy and fun. The colors are so beautiful and even more vibrant in person. These little balls of heaven have coconut, nut butters, and pea protein powder. I was on the hunt for tropical florals, but I couldn’t find anything at all the flower shops. Then Publix came through with their colored flowers. Who would have thought? We also had vegan tacos and a fancy salad.
The cake was raw food art! A raw carrot cake with pineapple, walnuts, and so much yumminess. It was a fun night and I would like to thank everyone that stopped by. These two cuties are my friend Muriel (on the left) who is a therapist by day and spoken word poet by night. My little sister Vicky of Miami Food Authority a Miami based food blogger. Check them out. It was a great time with friends at my Boho healthy birthday party. Looking forward to great things in the coming year. I hope everyone had a fabulous year (in spite of everything). Let’s make 2017 awesome!
